Refund Policy
Effective August 30, 2026
Philippine consumer law doesn't require a cooling-off period for digital services like Obra. We publish this policy anyway, because a fair, clear refund policy is worth more to you than the refunds cost us.
Subscriptions
- Annual, first purchase: full refund within 14 days if fewer than 3 job posts were published. After 14 days, or once 3 or more posts have been published, you get a pro-rated refund of the complete unused months, less one month as an administrative fee.
- Monthly: no mid-cycle refund. Billing is prepaid, so simply not paying the next invoice ends the service — there's no cancellation process to fight through, and no trap.
- Downgrading with active posts: posts already live stay live until they naturally expire. You won't get a renewal or replacement post beyond your new plan's limit.
A la carte purchases
- Full refund if the purchase hasn't been delivered yet (post not live, blast not published).
- Once delivered, non-refundable — the service is complete.
When it's on us — always refunded or credited
- Your listing is rejected by our review team after payment — full refund of any a la carte purchase tied to it.
- The platform is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours — pro-rated service credit.
- A Social Media Blast isn't published within 3 business days — full refund.
Never refundable
Accounts terminated for fraudulent listings, fake employer documents, or overseas/OFW placement violations.
How refunds are paid
Refunds return via the original PayMongo payment method within 7–10 business days.
