Privacy Notice

Who we are

Obra Community (“Obra”, “we”) is a job listing directory for Capiz Province, a Sukii Community product operated by Advervia Advertising Agency. This notice explains what personal information we collect and how it's used, in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

What Obra is — and isn't

Obra is a listing directory, not a recruiter or applicant tracking system. We publish job listings and route interested applicants to the employer's own email or external application page. We never ask for, receive, or store resumes. There is no resume database on this platform.

What we collect

Even without resumes, we hold some personal information:

• Job seekers: your name and email address when you create an account, and a record of which job listings you clicked “Apply” on.
• Employers: your name, email, business name, and the DTI/SEC registration and Mayor's Permit details you submit for the Verified Employer review.

Why we collect it, and who sees it

When you click “Apply” on a listing, we ask you to explicitly agree that your name and email will be shared with that employer — that consent is the reason we're allowed to share it, and it's the only way an employer sees your information through Obra. We don't share your name or email with any other employer, and we don't share it for advertising.

Employer verification details (business registration, permits) are reviewed by Obra's admin team before a listing can go live, and are not shown publicly.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or bulk-export the applicant list. If that ever changes for a specific, legitimate reason, we'll update this notice and seek the appropriate legal basis first — not the other way around.

Your rights

Under RA 10173, you can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and object to specific processing. Contact us using the details below to exercise any of these.
